Please head over to the CORE BLOG for full details and crop rules. And we have a Facebook Hard Core Crop page HERE to chat and hang out with fellow Hard Core Croppers. So make sure you head over there, too. Feel free to invite your friends, too! You never know when challenges or giveaways will pop up over there.

My challenge to you is to create SOMETHING FOR GIFT WRAPPING.
It could be a giftbox, giftcard holder, tags, giftbag, garlands for wrapping around presents, etc.
The rules are simple: Anything goes, as long as it's something to hold or embellish a gift that includes Core'dinations cardstock!

For this challenge I have created a few gift wrapping ideas to get you inspired. First up is a clothspin with a Poinsettia to embellish e.g. a giftbag.
The flower was created using the Tim Holtz Distress Collection. I sanded the cardstock and used matching Distress ink. Both techniques together give such a beautiful dimension to the flower.
Next are some cards to hold your 'flat presents'. I have used the new David Tutera Celebrate Card Making System to create the cards. Check out the David Tutera How-To section of the website for a FREE downloadable PDF of these projects (and more).
First a card for holding a CD/DVD:
And what about a sewn garland to wrap around a gift? This garland was made using the David Tutera Flower Seals and snowflakes punched from Glitter Silk cardstock.
The winner of this challenge will get a David Tutera Celebrate prize package.
(content of prize package may vary but will be equal value of what you see above)
(Challenges must use the link tool below. If you do not have a blog, please feel free to use Photobucket, Flickr or any other photo sharing site that provides links. You must use Core'dinations ColorCore cardstock (which includes David Tutera Celebrate products) to win this challenge. Feel free to use other products, too. You may NOT combine this challenge with any of the other HCC challenges but you may complete this challenge as many times as you like. You must link by 8pm, December 2nd).
Upload your gift wrapping idea using the inlinkz tool below. And don't forget to share on Facebook, too...
I hope you are inspired to create something for GIFT WRAPPING! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
