Flair buttons on sale. 20% off on Black Friday

Black Friday has really hit Denmark this year, with lots of sales on Nov 28th. Strange to see this American tradition here, but thought I'd play along and offer a 20% sale on my flair buttons. No new designs this holiday season, but if you didn't grab the Christmas designs from last year, now is your time... All flair buttons sets will be 20% off tomorrow only.

Visit my Etsy shop here. If you want to order and are not a member of the Etsy community, just simply send me an e-mail at info@brandtlassen.dk with the flair buttons set/s you would like.

Happy Black Friday Sale. But Mostly I wish you all a lovely Thanksgiving tonight. Our yearly Thanksgiving-feast has been postponed till midd-December this year, but I sure am beginning to looking forward to the lovely food!

I love you

Sometimes "I love you" is just the best title for a layout with pictures of your child. Just because you do love them, and the photos have no special story. I also love when my oldest son wears sunglasses. It happens rarely, but luckily I can sometimes get him to pose with them on. He looks so super cool!

Brunch

Oh, how time just flies. So sorry to neglect this blog, if you happen to flow my creative pursuits! The creative de-route does continues and I have absolutely no mojo. But I am still here, and I do create occasionally, even if just once a month. The stressful life continues, I guess, and the struggle to make ends meet. It's a happy life, don't get me wrong, it's just not as creative at the moment as I had hoped for. Luckily I can still whip up a layout. Hooray for not loosing a learned skill!

This layout was created for the scrapper.dk blog and uses a new favorite collection from Echo Park Paper *Head over Heels*. I think this might be my first non-portrait layout - at least in a very long time. Food-photography is fun. You'll know I think so, if you follow me on Instagram...

You're cute!

So I discovered yet another photo of Melvin in the knitted hat... promise this is the last layout with those photos!

I pulled out some new Echo Park papers fra the Head over Heels collection (a new favorite) and the old Everyday Eclectic and ended up with this layout. I stamped a cute teddy on patterned paper (from my all time favorite October Afternoon collection Rocket Age) and added a title. I have missed new collections from October Afternoon this year! Good thing I have plenty of their goodies in my stash...

This layout was made for the Scrapper.dk blog. Love all the Echo Park collections in Lindas shop!

The DUDE in the cute bear hat!

Yet another layout using photos of Melvin with a cute bear hat. I am all about using the pictures I already printed, trying to make it work and using them up, even if it means more layouts with the same pictures. However, I'll never scrapbook all the photos I printed over the last couple of years!

For this layout I tried to add more embellishment than I normally do, but guess I was quite moderate after all! The layout turned out to be a grid design after I placed my elements! One Can never go wrong with a grid design...

Already posted this on FB and the Love2scrap blog!

Sequins sequins

The June-challenge at Nina Christensens blog is to use sequins. I have plenty, but never ever used any! So it was a challenge to say the least...

I like to use older photos and supplies to sort of double the Challenge, and ended up with a winter layout!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Washi challenge

So I have been wanting to participate in the monthly challenges at Nina Christensens blog. Since January. I just have not had the energy to be creative (since like forever). You could submit an old project for a chance to win, but for me that would not be a "challenge", right?

This morning I finally managed to whip up a layout. Yeah! Haven't had the time to sew the buttons yet. But the boys are at home, so it's time for snuggles and adventures with them!!

Since it was a Challenge to use washi tape I created stripes of washi in colors matching the photo (which by the way is a favorite from a vacation on Crete 3 years ago).

Confirmation cards | Konfirmationskort

The months of April and May are confirmation-peak-season in Denmark. This year my sisters children confirmed their Christian belief, so I made a lot of cards!! Well, the origami dresses and shirts I folded years ago, and they made for super quick and cute cards. easy! I even made enough cards for several family members to use and then some to save for next year!

Another Woody layout

Another Woody layout using the same pictures as in a precious post. Just a different design and different papers. Used some of the new goodies from Crate paper.

The many faces of Melvin

A white on white layout with pictures of the many faces of baby Melvin captured during a photoshoot. I added dimension with modeling paste, stamps, doodles, ink splatter and some cute feathers. Used glitter tape and neon paper for a little spark of color!

Woody meets Boys Rule (Crate Paper)

My sweet little Woody in a simple white space layout. I used the new boy-collection Boys Rule from Crate Paper. You can find the collection at love2scrap.dk.

No layout without a flair button :-)

Have a great weekend!

Playing with Dylusions ink spray

This layout is up on the Scrapper.dk blog. The background started out as piece of paper to wipe off ink after spraying over a mask on another paper. However, it looked super cool, so I used the paper for this layout. Did a few doodles and added a few embellishments, and it was done. Very quick, yet artsy ;-)

Pink + purple cards

The David Tutera Celebrate Collection has a lot of pink and purple cards, layers and embellishments. Those colors are a bit challenging for me to use, to say the least. But I do like challenges, so I jumped in and made these girlie cards last year.

Maskuline kort

Last year I made a handful of masculine cards with the David Tutera Celebrate collection by Core'dinations. They never made it to the blog, so here you go! So super fast and easy with all the precut layers and diecut embellishments.
